A look back at September
September has been a busy month for me both professionally and personally. Work has been comically busy and at home we've both been on and off sick for the last few weeks. Not. Fun.
I've taken the decision to transition my blog back to www.jamesleighton.com because as much as I like the omg.lol service (and I really do!), it felt weird having my primary web presence sitting on a subdomain I couldn't transfer out even if I wanted to. All domains/URLs I've used over the last few years should seamlessly redirect to the canonical URL of https://www.jamesleighton.com and if you're seeing this post in your RSS reader I guess that worked.

Movies and TV in September
Our low energy binge this month has been Brooklyn Nine Nine which we haven't seen for many years. It's great comfort TV! I also found a new anime called 'Rising Impact' on netflix which is about golf. Sounds weird, it's really decent! It's also given me a reason to go play Mario Golf soon!
We got free cinema tickets from Octopus Energy so we went to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on the big screen. I'd only watched the original the week before on Netflix. The sequel really holds up to the original and we really enjoyed both of them. What I didn't enjoy was the man sat near us coughing, sniffing and talking through the quiet bits. I'm sure it's him who got me sick last week!
