Week Notes - 2025-39

Last week was a busy one! More office time than usual means more commuting. More time for music and podcasts, less time for reading and gaming and everything else.

I've been struggling with focus for a little while now and I finally had an eye test on Friday. My prescription has changed quite a lot, and I'm awaiting delivery of my new glasses. It certainly explains the drop off recently in screen time outside of work. Go and get your eyes tested.

Away from the screens I finished Blood of Elves (The first Witcher novel) and started The Butcher's Masquerade (Dungeon Crawler Carl Book #5). We also had a board game session at home and played a new addition to our collection "Sierra" which is a fantastic low complexity, fast card based game where you are creating scenic vistas and scoring points based on the rivers, ruins, and houses you place. We'll be back to complete the campaign!
