Week Notes - 2026-03
Hello! I know everyone says it, but are we really already half way through January? 🫠
Gaming
I took an unplanned break from gaming last week but the backlog isn’t going anywhere. Perhaps it might be time to dust off the Switch or 3DS?
Movies and TV
My wife and I decided we should watch at least one movie a week in 2026, and we're doing our best to keep above the average. This week we watched Zootropolis 2, and The Da Vinci Code.
It'd be so long since I last watched The Da Vinci Code that I'd completely forgotten all of the twists; it was like watching a brand new movie. It also reminded me of a visit I made to Rosslyn Chapel back in 2017 which was a nice memory.
This week I also introduced my wife to 'The Office'... She's enjoying it 💯
Reading
I finished my book on British Rail which as I've mentioned in previous updates was very very interesting: the book really opened my eyes to how much British Rail achieved in spite of chronic underfunding and several unhelpful governments.
I started and finished All Systems Red by Martha Wells after hearing about it on a recent Staying In Podcast episode. I really enjoyed it, and I'm excited to read more of the Murderbot Diary series.
