Week Notes - 2026-05

With the evenings slowly getting lighter, Spring finally feels like it is on the way! ๐ŸŒ„

My wife made some amazing meals this week, and I feel blessed to be able to eat them.

Gaming & Reading

Another busy week, but I did manage to complete the first of my "Four in February" games - Super Mario Land 2. Granted, I picked a short one, but it is a game I'd never actually got around to completing before.

I also picked up my eReader again and started to read the sixth book in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series: The Eye of the Bedlam Bride. It's every bit as good as the previous five books, and I'm hoping to kickstart my reading before bed habit again this week.

On Sunday the stars aligned we finally played a board game for the first time since Christmas! First we played a base game of Wingspan, then we added the Oceania expansion. I really like the new nectar mechanic!

Movies and TV

We didn't really watch much of note this week
