Week Notes - 2026-09
Another week has flown by, and it feels as though Spring is finally upon our shores. I've kept my steps up, finished another book, worked on my blog, but haven't played too much this last week.
Step Challenge
After setting myself a challenge to walk more, this has been a resounding success. Let me remind you my average daily steps leading up to the challenge was about 3600....
Long walks on weekends are making weekdays a bit easier, but I can't afford to slow down too much for more than a single day! One week to go, and I should comfortable come in above 7500 steps a day. 💯

Overall average: 8,050 steps/day

Blog Updates
I added a 'bookshelf' of sorts to my blog. I want to be able to keep a record of the books and movies I watch without using more platforms. Sorry Bookwyrm and Letterboxd! This is a work in progress, but I am really happy with it so far.
Reading
I finished Eye of The Bedlam Bride earlier in the week. Review: A++++++. Looking forward to starting the next one.
I also started a book about Katamari Damacy as I thought it might help me understand those games more since I was attempting to beat REROLL during my Four in February challenge. It's a short palette cleanser before I jump back into some fiction.
Gaming
Quite week on the gaming front for me. I did manage to beat the Elite 4 in Pokémon Polished Crystal whilst commuting to the office. This week I'm going to try and put time in Dragon Quest as I'd like to box that off sooner rather than later, but I've also been yearning to play some SnowRunner too.
