Week Notes - 2026-10

Spring arrived, then promptly left. Last week I was walking around in a t-shirt on Wednesday, and was wrapped up again by the weekend. Brr. Hopefully the brighter days return soon.

Gaming

I spent all my time gaming on 'Cast n Chill'. What a fantastic game. Cast your line, try to catch fish. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat until it's 11pm. It's the most addictive game I've played in a while, and scratches the itch left by Legend of the River King. Oh, and it's on sale until March 12th!

Reading

I finished my book about Katamari Damacy, and started 'Azure Bonds' from the recent Forgotten Realms Humble Book Bundle. It is the opening installment of The Finder's Stone Trilogy and set within the Forgotten Realms universe of Dungeons & Dragons. I can't wait to find out what the blue tattoos really are and who's responsible for them! The mute lizard character is a lot of fun too.

Movies and TV

I've decided I want to watch at least one movie a week, so I finally got around to watching the new Naked Gun movie! Frank Drebin Jr is on the case, just as inept as you remember. ๐Ÿฆ‰

We also started the new series of Scrubs which is absolutely worth your time.

Steps Challenge

My step count last week left a lot to be desired as I barely got out of the house, but on average I managed to pull it together to complete my month long challenge. More about that here.
