Week Notes - 2026-13

A fairly quiet week this week, so I'll write my week note in the style of the '#ThreeGoodThings' hashtag from Mastodon.

Lighter Evenings

Hurray! It's finally bright enough after work to actually go outside and do things. Today I celebrated with a walk after dinner!

Numbers go down ๐Ÿ“‰

I've been logging my food intake for three weeks now. That has led to a somber realisation of just how much I was eating. Sticking to between 1500-2000 calories on most days has seen a modest decrease on the scales, which has really focused my mind for the coming months.

Smart Home Shenanigans

I spent some time this week sorting out niggles in our Home Assistant setup. Smarter routines, more sensors. I'll blog about this at some point. My wife tolerates it at this point. ๐Ÿซ

Quarter 2

Since my brain is hardwired to think in quarters, here are my thoughts on what I want to achieve during April, May and June:

Last week I spent...
๐ŸŽฎ 3h37m video gaming
๐ŸŽฒ 0h0m board gaming
๐Ÿ“– 3h19m reading
๐Ÿš— 4h15m driving
๐Ÿ’ค 51h50m sleeping
๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ 1h56m being active

I listened to 173 songs, my most listened to artist was Taylor Swift.

I walked 23515 steps this week.

Time Tracking Summary:

๐ŸŽฎ DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake - 3h37m
๐Ÿ“– Azure Bonds - Kate Novak & Jeff Grubb - 2h8m
๐Ÿ“– Baptism of Fire - Andrzej Sapkowski - 1h9m
